The AlanIDE has been rebuilt and some minor issues fixed. It also sports a crude "Correct Indentation" function in the editor menue.
It is now at v0.0.8. You can download the new version from the AlanIDE area of the Alan Home Pages, http://www.alanif.se.

The results of the 2008 Annual Interactive Fiction Competition has been around for a while. The biggest surprise (NOT!) was that "The Absolute Worst IF Game in History" finished last!
On a more positive note, Anssi Räisänen managed to finish (no pun!) 18th of 35 games with his "The Ngah Angah School of Forbidden Wisdom". No bad feat for a tricky Anssi-style Alan game, in a strong field full of aspiring Inform litteratureists!

Thanks to an initiative and effort of Anssi Räisänen, Alan v3 is now showcased on Roger Firths site "Cloak of Darkness". The site showcases a number of popular IF languages using a common simple game, "Cloak of Darkness". It previously showed Alan v2, but has now been updated to show Alan v3 instead.
